The Annual July 4th Parade and Picnic will be held at Westgate Park.
Bring your friends and family with you to enjoy an old-fashioned American celebration. The festivities start at the park circle with the judging of vehicles decorated in patriotic themes. After the judging, we will have a police and fire escort for a parade through the neighborhood. Food, games, and rides will be available in the park after the parade.
A great deal of effort goes into this event. Volunteers are needed for a half-hour or more to help setup/cleanup, work the tables, supervise the moonbounces/water slides, and help with the games. Junior civic members are needed to help with the carnival games.
